2007 HWY 1 picking up radio station

My HWY 1 seems to be picking up a radio station when using my Whirlwind compressor or 535Q Wah. When I remove them from my chain no radio station but if I try those pedals with my SG with WCR pickups no radio station. I have tried various cables, the pedals in different positions, different amps and different locations in my house and where my band practices nothing changes.

When I use my Tele with either of those pedals as soon as I turn the volume knob on the guitar to max no more radio station. If I turn the volume knob all the way down no radio station. But anywhere in between the radio station appears.

When I have my Blues Jr set at gig levels Volume 9, Master 7 the control plate on my guitar seems to be very microphonic. Whenever I move the cable that goes directly into the amp I can hear the cable movement thru the amp. I've tried with all my cables a Peavy, Monster, Mogami and George L they all do it so it can't be the cables.

Any idea whats going on? Do I need to shield the control cavity? Is there a bad solder connection?

I picked up taxi cab transmissions on my amp while playing in a club years ago.

I think that's way cool. There's a recording of Hendrix playing live in Germany when he starts to pick up the radio. It's spooky, creepy good. You could always use a looper to get your radio station when you want it.

I picked up what sounded like a Chinese radio station one night with my Highway One Tele, Tweak Fuzz, and Pro Junior.

I get a Chinese station with my Vox wah when playing in and around my house. It's the pedal not the guitar.

So how do i fix this? Should I try the copper shielding tape that Stewmac sells and start lining the cavities?

Those pedals might be reverse polarity. If this is the case, either use those in the effects loop, get a few reversed patch cables, a pedal like a launch pad, or quit using those with single coils maybe ??

Back in the 60's almost everytime we played we picked up radio signals at least part of the night. Usually moving the amp to a different angle would stop it.

My nephew's bass was picking up a radio station, but only when plugged in to one particular amp. I shielded all the cavities and solved the problem.

How do I know if the pedals are reverse polarity? No effects loop in the Blues Jr but there is one in my Marshall DSL 401 but its meant for processors not really stomp boxes. What are reversed patch cables and where do I get them? What would a pedal like a launch pad do for me?

I was at practice the other night with no Whirlwind compressor or 535Q and I was still picking up a radio station. So this leads me to believe its coming from either the guitar or the amplifier I'm thinking the preamp tubes.
