Dunlop Strings, anyone?
I've been seeing a lot of Dunlop strings lately in the music stores around me.
They seem to be going after the Metal crowd, except for the Rev.Willy's (that only go up to 10's) I'm wondering if anyone has tried 'em on their Tele or Acoustic for the basic country/rock/jazz/blues thing.

I just felt a latency (describing tone is always interesting) but yeh if you broke it down to the idea of an ADSR envelope something in the attack just seemed late to me... |

Dunlop
I just put a set of Dunlop 10's on my strat after playing the last year of gigs on D'addario 10's. The Dunlops feel like 9's,and bending at the first fret is easy in comparison to my previous strings. They are billed as being 'light tension',and thats exactly how they feel.I would imagine their 11's feel like
10's. I was also able to lower my action and its buzz free. They also break in extremely fast, just a few bends on each and they are good to go. Made in California too,or so it says on the box. No turning back, these are my new strings! |
