Tele Blacktop HH Loose Neck Pickup

MY Tele Blacktop HH has Loose Neck Pickup. You can wiggle it up and down when you try. Just seeing if thats normal?

Thats probably the mounting screw gone loose from the plate the pickup is attached to - you'd have to remove the pickguard and remount the screw thru the pickguard and back into the pup-plate.
Ow and did I mention that's a hellish job unless you want to remove your strings? ;)

They will move some. Put your finger on the pickup near the adjusting screws an push down. If the pickup disappears into the body then the screw has just come out of the mounting ear. Just dismount the pickguard, locate the missing spring, and reassemble everything.

Most likely the pickup is still attaced to the screw, in fact when you push down or wiggle the pickup you'll see the screw head move along with it, or the pickguard flexing slightly. If so, everything is fine. Just play it and forget it.

Hahaha thanks guys. Pretty sure it's okay. Just overlooking things way too much. My first fender I ever had though. Love this thing!
