Help with pedals

Hi folks
Having problems with my pedals, Chorus pedal works fine on it own, then put in chain with distortion and it stops. Distortion as the second link in chain still works, but stomp on the chorus and nothing. Red light on both, so it's not power.
I've tried changing the leads & the pedal jacks. I've switched the chain and gone distortion first & then chorus but the same thing happens.
I'm baffled, any advice would be very welcome.
thanks

Have to ask -- have you tried the chorus pedal by itself since the problem started? It might just be that your chorus pedal died and the distortion pedal is a red herring.

MG, no the chorus works fine on it's own, but as soon as you daisy chain it with the distortion it cuts out, well now it just gives a crackling pulse. Any other ideas folks?
cheers

Probably the daisy chain part that is the problem :)
