replacing neck humbucker with single coil

Will there be any issues, aside from buying a new pickgaurd, if I replace the humbucker in the neck of my tele with a single coil?

I had the neck position routed for the humbucker when I replaced the previous pickup.

thanks

No you will be fine the CV and MIM Teles come stock routed for Humbuckers, just put a single coil pickgaurd and you will be fine..

I wonder if that's a recent thing: my MIM Tele doesn't have a humbucker route.
