Warmoth neck 'lip'

I've had the same Warmoth on 3 Teles, and the latest one ('69 Thinline RI) behaved a little differently in that the last fret collided with the pickguard and caused a bunch of dead frets.
No biggie to fix, but just an FYI to you durn neck swappers!

Yup, any 22 fret bolt-on Tele/Strat neck might have body pocket depth issues that'll leave little room twixt the bottom of the fretboard overhang and the top of the pickguard (or even top of the body!). I've worked on guitars where the owners attempted to force the neck on and blew the fretboard end right up and off!

Well I took it to a guy you may know...

and he pointed it out immediately. I was going to just stop playing those high notes, who needs 'em anyway.

Happened to me too. I once cut the pickguard to fit around the fretboard end to fix it. You can buy a replacement guard and cut it if you don't want to mess with the original.

I was going to do just that

but as Rob pointed out, the pearloid guard the the Thinline has is kinda pricey to rpelce.
BTW, welcome to the forum AL, I've used your pickups for years
