Guitar Shop Supply/Guitar Parts Online/TNT?

Has anyone on the board tried a Tele body from these guys?

Their prices are pretty reasonable, and, since I'm in the market for an ash tobacco 'burst body to go with a '67 neck, I'm intrigued.

Please let me know if you've had any experience with this company.

I ordered a Strat body from them and it was a lot of problems. I could not find a pickguard that fit. They either did not allow enough room for the tremelo or they would not cover the control cavity.

I sent an e-mail to TNT and he promised to send me a pickguard that would it. It did not arrive. In the meantime, I discovered another problem with the body and e-mailed him about that. I never get a response.

About a month later, I had not received the pickguard so I sent him an email and asked what was going on. He said that because I had sent him the second email about a problem, he decided he was not going to send me the pickguard and that he was not going to do anything at all to help me.

I've since noticed that he operates under a couple names on ebay and some of the positive feedback listed under each name has come from some of his other names.

The bodies he has appear to be Mighty Mites but are just a bit off. If you want decent prices on Mighty Mite bodies, there's a guy on ebay under the name of warpdrivemusic who has them at great prices and delivers very quickly.

Didn't order a body

but I got a Tele bridge with humbucker hole from them at about half the price of anyone else. It's of decent quality, and had no issues with the deal.
Based on that experience, I've been tempted to order a body form them, but appreciate the feedback here concerning tolerances.

I ended up getting a Fender Strat pickguard to fit the body I got from TNT but I had to alter the neck and bridge cutouts to do so.

Thanks, everyone

Hmmm . . . I can't say that these guys sound real promising, despite the price. I guess I'll keep trying to find an actual Fender body.

Thanks so much for your advice.

I had horrible experience with Guitar Parts Online - aka TNT guitars, seller of Dragonfire pick ups. I would avoid. Was told they don't do returns. They definately do not stand behind what they sell.

Facts of life:

1) Usually we get what we pay for.

2) Buy quality and never regret it.

3) Buying cheap junk usually means we have to buy again pretty soon down the line...

I just ordered a P bass pickguard (for a parts bass, doesn't matter if it fits perfectly) and a couple pots for a guitar I'm fixing. I guess I'll find out if they're trustworthy. Cheaper prices than GFS on pickguards and they offer some really cool colors.
