Chipped magnet on my Bill Lawrence pickup... Is it a problem?

Hello everyone,
I just ordered and received the L-200T pickup set from Bill Lawrence (Wilde USA). When I opened up the package and gave the pups a once over, I noticed that the L-200TL (bridge pickup) has a slight chip on the top side of its G-string magnet. Here are some pictures, the magnet pole of interest is the third one from the left in these photos:

I'm sorry if it's hard to see in the pictures, but I couldn't get any closer up with my camera. It's a small chip and I'm wondering if this is something that I should be worried about?... As in, should I contact the Lawrence's and tell them about it to get a replacement? I've heard all about Bill's perfectionism so I'm really perplexed about this whole thing. Any insights? Is this kind of chip really common and totally irrelevant when thinking about how the pickups will sound, or is it something more serious than that? I'd like to know before I go installing them in a guitar.

This is my first set of pickups and I'm sort of in uncharted waters at this point, so sorry if this is a stupid question.

Thanks for your help!

I wouldn't worry about it. It happens.

Only a problem if:

a) it affects the sound of the pickup, and I can't imagine that it would.

b) you're the obsessive type and each time you look at the guitar, your eye is drawn to it, and you can't shake the suspicion, no matter how unfounded it may be, that it is killing the mojo of the guitar.

Otherwise, play on and enjoy the pups!
