Tele Upgrade Project, need feedback!
Hey everyone! I'm brand new to the site and have been playing guitar 2 years now. My friend gave me a Squier Affinity Tele recently and I'm upgrading it with some stuff from GuitarFetish.com. It is a blonde with blackguard but I'm gonna put a 3ply esquire guard, remove the neck pickup, put their hottest tele stack (15k) in the bridge, and get a blank control plate and cut it for 2 knobs. I'm also going to get a push-pull pot so that I can split the pickup. I need help deciding between 250k or 500k pots. And I also wanna know what everyone thinks about my project. I'm open to anything, suggestions, criticisms, etc. Thanks!
