Original '51 electronics?

Hi Gang - I'm considering selling my 1951 Tele and want to know if someone on here can confirm if the electronics are the originals.
I inherited the guitar and amp when my Dad passed away.

Thanks a bunch!

There are way better Experts than me on this...but offhand I would say the Volume Pot and switch tip may be Non-original ?

Kinda looks like as mellecaster said. I'm no expert eye either.

But that looks like a close to original as it should be. Great guitar, you play it?

I would keep it. But its yours and I wish you all the very best with it.

Do us TDPRIers a favour, more pictures please!

That's a beautiful old guitar that is worth some serious money.

But, if it were mine I'd keep it too!

I'm a Drummer - you give me a Guitar and I don't have the first clue how to play it!
I should keep it of course - but I'm buying some property and need down payment money.

With the original strap.

You can get the downpayment done and get a good wall TV and fridge. All the very best my man. I hope the guitar goes to a studio cat.

I'd keep that beauty, but if you must sell it, well, that's it.

Best of luck!

I also say keep it, but if you sell it make sure you get the right price. If it seems like you're getting an obnoxiously high amount, ask for more.

Well, I'll tell ya, I never took up the guitar and I'm sure someone will love and care for this one, because right now it just sits, and that's a crime.
I put it on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...STRK:MESELX:IT
