vintage bridge measurements
can anyone give me the specs on a vintage bridge?
in particular the total bridge length, the length of the intonation screws, and the distance from the back of the bridge to the center of the four mounting screws. I'm still looking at the best way to replace my MIM Squire top loader and would like to make a vintage template prior to deciding. thanks, mike |

here's what I measured from a 1968 bridge plate with "screw-thread" bridge saddles:
total length of bridge plate = 3 3/8"" length of intonation screws = 1 7/32" (screw head not included) length from back edge of bridge to center of mounting holes = 1/2" (maybe 15/32" but it's hard to be precise here) |
