The Preamp of the Andy Summers Tribute Telecaster

Ladies/Gents of the TDPRI - I finally got around to taking some pictures of the preamp from my Andy Summers Telecaster (this is the Custom Shop model offerred a couple of years back, great guitar BTW).

There has been some discussion here previously that they used the same circuit board from the Eric Clapton Strat for this guitar....and its appears to be very similiar except for one variation of a resistor...perhaps one of the electronics experts here can shed some light on the difference. They are definately made by the same source, way too many similiarities...

Here are the pics of the guitar and the preamp....the photo on the very bottom is the Clapton circuit board.







The R5 slot is the only difference I can see
