Can You put a Danelectro neck on Tele?

Hey Guys , i have 2000 MIM 50s Telecaster body that i have been looking for a neck to put on, now I play alot of slide ,so I was thinking putting a standard dano neck(not a barotone) on the body, put any one with dano-tele pease post the pic's the only one I found is of pete townsend in 66. heard Jeff Beck had one as well.Name:  66_tele-danneck[1].gif

I saw Beck w/ Rod Stewart back in the day - Rod played a Tele w/ Danelectro neck on Beck's Bolero.
But like Colt says, who knows how much work was involved?
Any particular reason you want a Danelectro?

Larry . I like a flat neck for slide ,and fender necks are to rounded.

Hey robmc, those are not my guitars... can't say how much modification is needed but judging from the pictures it shouldn't be that much.
