re-winding my twisted tele pup?

Hi All,

I just managed to lose both winding ends in the wax of my twisted tele pup

I got to take it to a tech now - how many k should these things be?

7k? 8k ?

What if I wanted a 'bluesier' tone from it, what I could I think about instead?

Thanks,

Don't rule out that is can be repaired without a rewind by the right hands with the right expertise...

It's the one on the neck or the bridge? depending on that and the sound you want you can wind it with AWG 43 or 42...
