re-winding my twisted tele pup?
Hi All,
I just managed to lose both winding ends in the wax of my twisted tele pup  I got to take it to a tech now - how many k should these things be? 7k? 8k ? What if I wanted a 'bluesier' tone from it, what I could I think about instead? Thanks, |

Don't rule out that is can be repaired without a rewind by the right hands with the right expertise...

A Twin always will cut it... but I don't recommend it for everybody. It's like a big dog, you have to take responsibility for it. Not to mention... be prepared to lift it.
