Wiring question

I have recently orderd a squier tele custom ii (p90) and when i recieve it i would like to do a electronics upgrade on it but dont know if i can do want i wanted to do to it.

No technical reason why that won't work - however you may or may not like the resulting tone. I've never tried splitting a P90 or out of phase.

Acording to the seymour duncan site "The stk-p1 stacked p90 comes with four-conductor hookup cable which allows for series / parallel / split wiring and tonal options. In series wiring, the tone is loud, brash and great for heavy rock. In parallel wiring, the sound is brighter and thinner and better suited to jazz, blues and country. And the split turns it into a more true single coil sound"
