help to mod HB neck pup

Hey All, I'm wanting to put a burstbuster pro in the neck position of a new fat tele build. this pup is a 2 wire. i'd like a 4 wire for the variations i can get. can i modify this HB? if so, all direction is appreciated.

It's possible (i did it on both PU of my Epi SG) but quite risky.
You need to remove the cover, if any, remove the tape enclosing the coils, and find inside the small wire connecting the coils. Cut, strip, solder two wires. Re-assemble and hope it didn't get microphonic.

Beware, if you do it wrong the pickup is dead ... wouldn't it be safer to buy a similar PU with 4 wires ?
