Out of Phase Wiring with 5 way?
I have a 5 way switch on my Nashville Power Tele which I am stripping and redoing. I am not going to put the middle pickup back in, but have to use the current 5 way switch (the goal is to do all this with no cash layout). I would like to have the traditional 3 way setup (neck/ neck + bridge/ bridge) but will have the two remaining positions open on my current 5way. Does anyone know how to wire it so that I get the neck and bridge out of phase with either of the two remaining positions? If not, got any other suggestions for some tonal variety (without adding the middle pickup back in)? I do have some extra caps.

OK, this guy has a ton of ideas... Go to the right side of the page, click Wiring For Guitar, then click Telecaster Mod... There are a bunch of ideas...
