my nuts are stuck

yes, you've read that correctly. i'm changing out my speakers and i got a couple of nuts off of them but there's a couple that are giving me trouble. when i try to wrench them off, the screw moves along with the nut. the screw isn't staying in place like the other ones. this is a real hassle, what do i do?

Speakers in a Tele? I guess this would fit better in Amp Central if it's an amp, or in Bad Dog if it's something else.

However, what are you changing speakers in? What is the problem? With the info given all I can say is "Hold it firm with a screwdriver/wrench!", but I suppose that would not work if you're asking. A little more info would help a lot!

Ouch!, Oh, right. Maybe a few drops of WD40 would loosen it. If not you will need to cut them off.

I miss Benny Hill...lol
