Eden necks: what happened?

Before they were all like:

Now they're like:

They went ugly.
Where can I get an older one? Ebay's a bust. I wanna spend like $50 or so, but I can go higher.

Looks like the legal staff at FMIC has been earning their pay and benefits.

How about that.

I wonder if they come from a different plant now. There's no telling where the next batch comes from.

That's what I reckoned, just my luck it happened right when I want one.
I wonder if anyone's got an old one they'll part with, or I should just get a squier neck?

Why not just get an Allparts neck? Not that expensive and the majority of people here swear by em...

Eden is still making a paddle head neck that you can shape into a tele neck yourself.

yep

Rondo music has the same thing going on,, very similar.

There original headstock was not identical to fenders,, and the newer one on the agiles is even uglier...

Original

New

I know with the Old Style Headstocks you could trim them to look like a fender style headstock. I'm not sure with the dimentions of the new ones that it is possible.

Because I have no allparts dealer locally that I know of and ordering allparts online would KILL my ~$100 budget.

You might want to contact them directly. They cant sell the Fender shapes on ebay but I read somewhere if you contact them they are still selling those necks.

Brian at Universal Jems discounts 25% off Allparts list if you're willing to wait 2-4 weeks until he does a group order. He's not that far from you either.
