Sanding thickness off of a neck
This question is regarding a set neck or neck through guitar.
Is it possible to take a boat neck and sand the back of the neck to a slim C? |

I would suggest starting with course sandpaper on an orbital sander. Sand a little .............. try it ...... sand some more .......... try it. You get the picture. When it starts to feel right use finer paper. Finish by hand sanding with fine paper and a foam pad.
