Stripping poly neck question
After reading numerous threads, here and elsewhere, I still have a question: Will stripping a poly neck (particularly with chemicals) remove the headstock decals? If so, what's the best way to do it and retain the decals?

It will remove the decal if you use a standard paint stripper. I have refinished 10+ necks and have never even tried to save the Fender decal. Perhaps someone smarter than I has a good system.

I guess my question should've been what's the best way to tint a poly neck while retaining the decals. Probably a question that's been beaten to death, but I'd appreciate any opinions.
