Can MIM Tele Complete Control Plate Be Used For Esquire?

Based on the wiring schematic I got off the Fender sight it looks like I can. Am I wrong ( I have been many times )?

Sure. Two pots and a switch. all you need is some more caps and wire and you're in business.

For more information, I found quite a lot of useful stuff on here about Esquire wirings. One idea is to use a 0.01 cap instead of the 0.033 - it's a more useful sound. I gave up having a switch in my Esquire, got a blank plate from GFS and now just have vol and tone controls and, but the tone control uses a 0.01 cap - i don't need it any muddier than that!
