MIM 06 with a Joe Barden Bridge
Hi All,
I have been reading your forums for some time and thought I might just say hi. I have a MIM 2006 telecaster and just finished changing the pickups and bridge. I got the pups custom made specs similiar to the nocasters cept i made the bridge pup of alnico 2 which is very sweet indeed. I have also change the 6 saddle bridge to the three saddle. It was a direct fit if anyone is curious about the 2006 bridges. You have the option to stabilize the bridge with the two front screws which I did but you don't have too. The telecaster sounds so damn sweet. One question is the output jack is pretty awful (loose beyond repair) and I am thinking about getting electrosockets from warmoth. Any experiences? Oh any suggestions on the screws on the three saddle bridge to stop in stabbing you when you palm mute? Is cutting the screws the only option? Awesome forum people! |
