resister value for esquire wiring
hello folks
im about to complete a esquire and i have two variations of resisters to use one is a 330 k and the other is a 2.5 k any difference between the two or will the 2.5 k version give my guitar a bit brighter high end with more bite . thoughts welcomed g6120 |

The best way to do this is hook up a mini pot instead of the resistor a pot is nothing more than a variable resistor so just add another pot set it for the preset bassy sound and you dont have to live with a fixed setting for the bassy sound ytou can control it.

thanks for the input and while on that thought by specs which of the two ive mentioned theoredically speaking would apt to have more high end output the 2.5k resister would let more bass end through where the 330k would take the bottom end bass off a bit more ? correct g6120 Last edited by g6120; May 3rd, 2008 at 04:17 PM. |
