switch for anderton mod

hello, this is my first post and im new to a lot of this. i am building a 2 pickup baritone guitar that i am hoping to wire like a tele with the either a 4 way switch (neck, both in series, bridge, both parallel) or a 5 way anderton-style mod (like the 4 way except adding an out of phase option). i would like to use a rotary switch but im not sure if i need 4 poles or 2 poles for the switches. if anyone can help me sort this out it would be greatly appreciated. also, any help translating blade switch diagrams to a rotary switch would be swell. pardon my ignorance.

I do rotary switches ALL THE TIME. Just PM me with some info about your switch and what you want it to do, and I can draw something up for you.

Here's a sample/example... This uses the 6-way/4-pole rotary available from Stewmac.com, Guitarelectronics.com, and other places:

You are looking at the bottom of the switch, as you would wire it. Mounted up, if you had a chickenhead knob, at the #1 throw (neck) it would be pointed towards the neck, and you would rotate the switch clockwise through to the bridge throw.

It doesn't use the Anderton scheme of using a cap as a rolloff filter, instead, this just gives you the six possible ways of playing two pickups.
