Got my new neck from Musikraft a couple weeks ago and figured it was about time to tell ya"ll about it.
Took about 3 weeks longer than I was originally told, but the wait was worth it. They did pick up the shipping cost for the delay.
It is a 24 3/4 scale, one piece maple with a 9 1/2" radius and medium Jumbo frets. It is .92" at the first fret and 1" at the 12th fret.
Build quality is exceptional. It came with no finish, only the sealer they apply, and thats the way I installed it. Very smooth and playable. It does have some nice grain and looks nice.
Fret work is some of the best I've seen.
After installing the nut and tuners, I put it on my pine body, and after a bit of adjustment on the saddles for intonation and string height, it plays great. I didn't have to adjust the truss rod at all. Much better and more comfortable than any of the Fender or Allparts necks I own.
I have been an Allparts user for quite awhile, but I think I've found a new supplier for my necks.
Communication is not the best, but the end product is outstanding.
