I think I like this one from StewMac better. Can't help you with finding one from a UK supplier.

I've cut down a standard guard to make one like your pic. It's not hard to do. Use masking tape on the top of the guard, mark your lines, cut with a coping saw, scroll saw, band saw, etc. Use files and sandpaper to clean up the cuts and bevel the edges.

I've spend the last week trying to find someone in the UK to do custom scratchplate's.
I can't find anyone at all. Best advice is Pickguardian, Warmoth, Pickguards.com or WD. I used WD recently and was very unhappy with their work.

Try checking the parts list for the Merle Haggard signature model and see if your Fender parts supplier can get it.
Otherwise I'd see if Warmoth does international orders, since they'll cnc any pickguard to order - the partscaster on my avatar has one of their modified/hybrid type guards to show off more of the quilt maple drop top. By the way, gotta love the common language separating us. "Scratchplate" is probably a much more accurate term than "pickguard."

The problem with getting the original from Warmoth is probably the minimum order amount, and that international shipping will easily double the price...
I'd try cutting down a regular Tele pickguard first (get a cheap one to practice), or find a local luthier who could do this. I also know of a guy in Germany http://www.der-trashcontainer.de/ who does custom pickguards - the website is in German, but I'm sure you can contact him in English as well; if you can't find a local source, at least this one is inside the EU (--> no import duties, lower shipping charges). |

I have never used them, but you could contact these people:
http://www.auroraproject.co.uk They do Tele scrachplates, and offer a custom service.
