Broken Saddle?
Just noticed the saddle under the high E on my James Burton Standard appears broken or set up wrong. It tilts inward at the bottom of the saddle (looking fown from top of bridge) and the screw at the bottom appears to be slanted or bent under the saddle or not properly screwed into the saddle. All of the other saddles are fine. Any ideas on what happened to this one saddle and resetting, replacing or repairing it would be greatly appreciated. Also, outside of Dan Erlewine's first repair book, are there any books re Tele repair/service that would be worth getting? Thanks.

Can you post a picture of what you're talking about? Because it almost sounds like that slight relief that some brass saddles get on the ends so that they could be adjusted farther down on the E's.
