Neck Plate stickers
What do the stickers on a Fender neck plate and sometimes on the neck itself stand for? The one with the garbage can X-ed out tells me not to throw my guitar in the trash, Me thinks. What does the CE stand for?
![]() This should be interesting! Come on, Cliff Clavin!

The CE sticker someone told has to do with import or export what exactly i'm not sure but you see them on most overseas guitars. The trash can sticker is too funny,my epi lp jr. had one on it.They must have been made in responce to something that had happend.

We have a winner!
Roman, hits the mark!
I found this on the trash can. http://www.innovative-dsp.com/company/rohs.htm When I first searched the web for the CE Sticker info, I couldn't find the answer. It was pretty easy finding the trash can info. Thanks again, everyone.
