Need some help...
I have made lots of nuts and bridge saddles for acoustic guitars with great results. I use synthetic bone and/or micarta. Hower lately, I've been getting this "sitar effect." You know, a whining kind of buzz. That's the best way I know to describe it. Do I need to widen or narrow the nut slots? I'm not sure what I'm missing here....

if it were my guitar, i would probably take the strings off, and put a shim under the saddle...although i'm not material you have available to use....
