No Pick Guard

I am building a walnut Tele with gold components and do not want to use a pick guard. I have seen custom made Teles with a neck pickup coverplate but have not seen any for sale. Any info on this part would be appreciated.

By "coverplate" do you mean a metal mounting ring? Those are available at Stew Mac or WD Music.
