Tele project zoom zoom

Was pretty cold today so I didnt go to work. Spent most of the day so far working on my latest project tele.
The last post reminded me to add some pics so I thought I would.

The body is a MIM that I have lightened and shaved. Took off the poly and re-stained Mahogany. The bridge plate is sunk into the body nearly flush as is the deluxe style neck plate on back, the electro plate input socket and the string ferrules. After I put the sanding sealer on it I liked it like that so Im stopping there for now. The grain is still open and it has a great matte feel and finish. The pick guard is a custom jobby I picked up from a secret source. the electronics are an SCN neck pickup, GFS dual rail bridge and S-1 switch and pots. I think I might add a push on/off micro switch to the horn area for a coil tap. I turned a witch hat knob into a S-1 switch knob cuz I like em.

The other pic is of my new Warmoth neck during massage therapy. Its a rosewood board, birdseye maple. 1-3/4 nut with super thin shape. Thats my personal headstock shape and it will be using Steinberger tuners. My headstock logo will go in the recessed area there. Im also inlaying Green abalone fret markers.

Give me another month or so and I'll be rippin' it up.
