How Do I Lower Tele PUs?

I'm not technical. However, I think my tele PUs on my ASAT Classic need to be lowered a tad. On my Strat, it's easy because the screws are on either side of the PU. However, I don't see the same on this guitar. Do I need to remove the pickguard :?

On most teles, the rhythm pup's screws are under the guard. I don't know anything about the ASAT, but if you can't see the screws, I'm sure they're under the guard.
