Question about potentiometer brands/mfrs....

I've always used CTS pots until I was looking for a 50K audio taper, split shaft pot for my strat with Clapton electronics. I had to go with a CGE pot for that.

That pot seems to work OK, and I can get them pretty inexpensively. I was wondering, though, what you guys thought of them, in general. I checked out their site and saw that they were acquired by Centralab back in the early 70's, and have merged several times since then... Not that that makes a difference, but it was interesting.

So what's the verdict on CGE pots, anyway?
