I need help wiring my '52 RI

I am re-wiring my '52 to the "current wiring" schematic. The kit I got with the guitar says it was supposed to include a .022 MYLAR Capacitor. It doesn't.

I just went to Radio Shack and all they had was POLYESTER.

Does it matter what the material is?

Thanks,

Doug

No, the material does not matter. Polyester is fine. I prefer the original .047 cap that's in there. That's what I used when I did the mod. - Jim

Thanks Fuzzy. I appreciate all your help in my previous posts.

I wanted something traditional. .050 is what Fender Telecasters have traditional used.

I just got done pluggin' it in my DRRI.....it sounds really good. I love this guitar! It's amazing how different it is to my '97 A.S. tele.
