I Just Installed:

1. A Glendale Bridge w/ Brass Saddles.
2. An RS GTR Works Preimum Wiring PKG.
3. A Calaham ElectroSocket.

1. The Bridge is Great / I do notice more overtones, the intonation is spot-on and though the twang is there, the brass has a great "smooth" quality (Im judging all of this playing acoustic)

2. The RS PKG is pretty nice. Had a little trouble getting the switch to flip properly, basically I must leave it setting loose on my control plate... I like their fancy cap and the pots are very smooth and responsive.

Im very happy that the pot tapers are working properly and are very even and dynamic throughout the entire sweep range. The hole setup is quiet and works as it should.

Did the fancy Cap make a difference in tone? Who knows but everything works and sounds nice now??????

3. The Electrosocket is great (why havent I used these before...) Hopefully this will settle my modding bug for a week or two...

Rock n Roll...

Let me guess... You made ALL of these modifications at the same time and are unscientifically reporting about the improvements but can't tell us which had the most effect. Thanks a lot...

I'm just kidding, I pretty much did the same thing to a Les Paul. I changed the electronics, the stopbar, and switched to new strings. I didn't do this for anyone else but me, and I could tell the difference. I have felt bad when people have asked me what opened up the tone of the guitar - and I have to admit I changed the volume and tone pots, the capacitor, etc., all at the same time.

All I can say is that I had a dark and muddy guitar before, and an incredible one afterwards. I don't mind boutique caps. Some people will complain about these, even though the cost is the same as a hamburger, fries, and a coke. I only have one guitar, and am putting together a second. Most likely, I will some day max out at three - so fancy caps don't bother me.

Thanks for sharing, and I'm glad things sound great. Personally, I like rsguitarworks.
