Tone control is now tone and volume control.

Just changed a capacitor in my Tele and noticed that my tone control works as normal but also rolls off the volume drastically. Changed back to the old cap. but it's still the same.

Ooops...?

Didja accidentally short the "open" leg/lug of the pot to ground? That would do it...

I don't know what I did so I unsoldered and resoldered everything again and it's okay now.
Thanks.

I had a similar problem the other day, turned out that when I crammed everything back in the cavity the one leg of the cap bent and was touching the open lug.
