Fast Fret Rules!
I have an old can/stick of Fast Fret that is at least 15 years old. I found it in one of my mom's guitar cases and never gave it back. I remember it being in that case ever since I was a kid.
Anyhow, it works like a champ at getting the grit off of old/salty strings, and you can really milk extra life out of every string by just using the stuff once a week. Additionally, it speeds up "flow" of fingers as good as anything that's out there. I just think it's cleaning/reviving capabilities are superior to competitors. See if you can still find the stuff! |

I have used them all...from naptha to fingerease to deoxit even. Fast fret is pretty good however the can never lasts. I prefer Dunlop 65 string cleaner. It's great on strings and also it slickens up the fretboard really well. Dr. Ducks works well too. It never dries unless you really buff it out.
