Bigsby Bridge

I have a cij 62 reissue Tele with a Bigsby(Jag bridge) and want to experiment with a different bridge. First of all, will the archtop style Telecaster bridge "fit" with the current setup I have or will those only work with the one piece Bigsbys(the ones that have the pickup mount attached)? Also, is the radius 7.5" on those archtop bridges? And where can I find this bridge?
It's just for tone experimentation and all opinions and ideas are welcome. Thanks.

Mustang Bridge

I don't think this does much to change tone, but I put a Mustang bridge on mine (same guitar as yours). The Mustang saddles are fixed-height and set in a 7.25 radius. This eliminates the little saddle-height adjustment screws that the Jazzmaster bridge has. My Jazzmaster bridge was always working these little screws loose.

With the Mustang bridge everything is tighter and I don't have to pull a little allen wrench in my pocket to tighten up screws after every other song.

Thanks for the reply. I have my Jag bridge set up pretty well. I shimmed the neck a bit and it put enough angle on the grub screws to keep the saddles solid. This also keeps the strings off of the back of the bridge. The sustain improved but it seems to have lost some acoustic volume.
Just an idea but it seems as though you already have your bridge situation fixed the way you want it.
Yep, my guitar is fine the way it is now but I'd still like to look into the "archtop" tele bridge...
