Bridge question - please help

Alright, my apologies if this has been asked, i definitely tried to search for it first and didnt find it. heres the skinny

i have a mexi tele with the 6 saddle top loading bridge, which i am not a fan of. its the three-screw type, not the vintage 4. I would like a modern bridge, but after looking around, it looks like theyre all string-through. so heres the questions:

A- anyone know of a modern style top loading bridge that would work in this situation?

B- anyone have a good reccomendation for any other good (vintage or otherwise) bridge with the 3 screw setup?

any help would be appreciated. i dont really want to have to convert it to string-through. thanks!

eric

Wilkinson makes one that can be used as a top-loader that goes for around $20 or so on e-bay. It uses four mounting screws, but it probably wouldn't cost much to have your guitar redrilled for it. Comes with compensated brass saddles, too.

I had the same problem with my '95 MIM (top loader) and couldn't find a three barrel type saddle plate.

I bought three brass saddles and drilled new holes in the bridge plate for the intonation screws and it works great. I can send pics if you like.
