I am upgrading my Squier Affinity tele. I have bought some Fralin pickups and was wondering if i should change out the pots and caps? Any help is appreciated

I sure would...some nice 250K CTS Pots and a .047 Capacitor. Just be advised that on an Affinity you will have to deepen and possibly widen the control plate rout a little for clearance...not a huge deal, but thought you should be made aware of that...Also I would change to a Switchcraft Jack and some nice 22 gauge wire on a New Oak-Grigsby 3-way switch....I don't care how I spend your Money.....

And ive seen most use .022 for the caps.. are the .047 better? I mainly play Country and Blues and a little classic rock

I have used a Dremel tool with a coarse sanding disk ,you can control the tip better if you use the cable drive attachment .

bend em tight and let er scream.

That depends on what tools you have available, and how much wood you have to remove.
