Extending the pickup's wire

I have a pup whos' leads are a little short to reach the switch. How can I go about lengthening it?

just solder you an extra lenght of wire of the same size on it

I twist them and solder and use heat shrink for insulation.

I just extended the leads on a few pickups the other day, same procedure, heat shrink is great stuff!
