Wiring a Jazzmaster in series

Alright, I'm taking the dark circuit out and replacing the upper controls with vol/tone for the neck pickup, and I want the switch to become a series switch. However I can't find a single diagram on this, and I feel like I'm just overlooking it. the Jazzmaster only has two pickups, so the 3 pickup diagrams are confusing. The switch is a DPDT I believe and has the six prongs sticking out the bottom, it's also an ON-ON if I'm correct.

looks like this:

Yep, would be a on on . I bought a mini switch for my JM to do the same deal and haven't got around to doing it yet with this diagram. I was thinking of mounting the switch in between the jack and the tone control. Looked like a good out of the way area with room in the cavity and not too far from the switch and things for easy wiring:

Thanks a bunch! I'm thinking about a phase switch in that method (down by the tone controls), but then I though the JM is probably treble enough that an out of phase switch might be too much... but I've got two pickguards, so I might mess with one and see what I can get going with them.
