how do you age a black pickguard??

how do you age a 3 ply black tele pickguard??

I deglossed one last night by rubbing it with 0000 steel wool. It's all scuffed up now and sure doesn't look new. Not sure if that's the effect that you want or not. I can post some pics if you want.

Tell you what, i've got a b/w/b thats about 11 years old and is all scratched up and what not, I think it may even have a cracked mounting hole or two, I'll trade you for the new one... with a small surcharge for my "relicing" fee of course...
