How green are Fender's Mint Green Guards?

I just received an "original" Fender 62 RI Mint Green Guard and I am shocked how green it is. I remember people on this board mentioning that it is a subtle effect but the one I received is so green...it's almost neon!
I purchased it from an online dealer and I wonder if it was repackaged since it is also a tad smaller as my original Fender one-ply white guards.
It came in a zip-lock bag with the usual white Fender sticker that states the product numer but there was no cardboard nothing else attached.
Have I been scr*wed or is Fneder's Mint green really THAT green?
Maybe I'll post a comparison shot with a white guard next to it later.
Any help is appreciated before I go off at the dealer...

Sounds like you got a fakey... at the very least it should be the same size as your other Fender ones. Mine are green but certainly not a neon green...

Here's my strat with Green pickguard. (depending on your monitor's settings it should be fairly accurate)

Mine isn't too green, though I think the guitar color seems to have an effect on how green it looks. Here's one on my black tele:

The exposure in the picture plays a big role. Mine is exposed slightly darker than yours - therefore the guard on yours appears whiter but the rest of the black Tele is exposed correctly. Difficult comparing those two...

I've seen very subtle ones and very very green ones. I think it varies.

Yeah, I don't know much about "exposures" - is this better?

Just kidding...

Ok, took some pics.
Here is the Mint Green Pickguard next to a white one.
I tried to get the color as close as possible.

Is it the real deal?

Looks about right, but if it's a different size like you say...??? Doesn't sound too kosher to me...

color looks "right" to me.

here's my mint green guard next to a white guard:

does your mint green guard aligns with the screws holes in the guitar?
if so, i guess its fine.

If I had been creating color combinations back in the day, I would have never thought of putting a mint green pickguard on a 3-color sunburst. What a brilliant idea!

Thanks for chiming in y'all.
Maybe I overreacted but after paying $90 for a pickguard, a set of saddles and the overseas shipping to Germany I simply expected something else. Less green and more toned down. Definitely not a good combination for the black nitro adler body but maybe the right guard for a fiesta red or a sunburst.
Off to purchase a white one...

Looks good with that binding, doesn't it. I thought the same thing.

OP: Your mint green looks 4 cents darker to me. It's very subtle and could simply be lighting and or monitor resolution playing games with my 40 something eyes. Could also be just that it has black in between creating a deeper effect. I also don't like the idea of the size being off-that's more disturbing than the shade to me.

I'll take it if you don't like it.

I recently got one from Fatboy Guitar parts because I was worried about the Fender one being too green.

I'm really glad I did. The guard on my faded Olympic White Strat looks fantastic. I'm away at the moment but I'll try and add a picture at the weekend.

It's very subtle.
