Push-pull Pot

I am looking for a decent quality 250k push pull pot with a solid post. Does anybody have a suggestion?

Thanks

I don't know of a solid shaft push pull. I line the screw on tele knobs up with the split. I've never had a problem when using this method.

Some luthier friends of mine go a step further and shim between the knurked shaft sides. Never took the time, but I can't see any flaws. Its a safe idea I'd say.

My favorite is the Yamaha Push-Push pot . Part number NB81739R Its a full sise 250K pot. About $20.00 at the store where I get them. No "grabbing" the knob. Just tap it . Very easy to do in play. Then push again to switch back.

I don't believe there is a push/pull with a solid shaft. However, there is a brass bushing that will convert a split shaft to a solid shaft. I've used them, and they work fine. Go to www.allparts.com, and look up part number EP_0220-008. That's what you need.

I would go with a push/push pot rather than a push/pull. Easier to push than pull.
