Tele Deluxe bridge on Tele Custom body?
Hi guys,
been a while since my last post, been working slowly on my Deluxe/Custom hybrid. Question: I want to put a fixed hardtail style Tele Deluxe bridge on a Tele Custom body. Why? - I'm not a fan of ashtray single coil bridges ( The Custom has 4 bolt holes to fit the ashtray. Any links or recommendations to where I could find a decent quality Deluxe style bridge to put on my guitar, that has 4 bolt holes to fit the Custom hole pattern. Thanks again, |

Taipan Tone, TDPRI member Taipan, aka Vince. This model shown here is made to use a vintage style 3-saddle setup. If you want one with 6 saddles instead, ask Vince and he can probably make one to order for you. I have no business affiliation with Vince, I just like drooling over these pictures showing his fine workmanship.

The good news is
you can install just about any
"Hard Tail" bridge you describe on any Tele. The likelyhood of matching the existing screw holes is not too good. If you can live with four new holes (one in each corner) you are good to go without spending a ton of money on a custom made cut down like the Taipan. Good luck on your project. Rob
