Fralin Steelpole wiring question

I've got a Fralin P90 neck pu and a Fralin Steelpole 43 bridge pu. The Steelpole has a black wire, a white wire and a ground wire (bare). Any "suggestions" on how to wire it ?

Greetings from the not-so-handy-Dutchman :D

Quetion

Hi: I don't know how to wire the pickup. But would appreciate your take on the Frailin Steel Pole pickup if you would? I bought a Tele 52 Re-iisue with steele pole pickups in the guitar. I like it a lot. Full sound for sure.
Curiuos on your take.

Thanks

3 wire

The bare wire gets grounded. Probably to a pot body. The other 2 wires will go to 1) the proper "hot" connection of the switch and to 2) ground. Which is which depends on the polarity of the other pickup and whether you are doing series or parallel "combo" switching. A basic setup with the middle position as a parallel of both pups means you want the 2 pups "in phase" with each other. That means that, generally, the brand of the pup will have it's own color code for phase. 2 pups of brand X means you should try grounding both leads of color A and connecting both leads of color B to their respective contacts on the switch. If the middle position, if the output goes down, they are "out of phase" with ea. other and you should reverse the 2 leads of one pup. I had to do that recently when changing a neck pup. If you are lucky, the mid position will be "humbucking" as a bonus.

The Fralin Steelpole sounds more Tele-like than I expected and has a high output.
I will test-drive the guitar for a couple of weeks and let you know my conclusion. (The guitar I put it in is a bit troublesome)
