Active Single Coils
I'm trying to learn about the guts inside an active pickup (not the electronics). Does anyone know how many winds (or have a rough idea of the resistance) an active single coil like the EMG-T has? Apart from the preamp - is an active pickup really just a passive pickup with very few winds?
Any help would be much appreciated.
