String grounding test?
If I use a meter, and see continuity between the strings and the metal body of a guitar plug in the jack -- wouldn't that verify that my string ground IS good?
(Trying to analyze a noise issue with my Baja, here. FWIW, the noise goes away completely when I use an Ebtech Hum-X...)

Thanks, Mellecaster.
The Hum-X is supposed to eliminate group loops. Put it into the wall socket, then plug the amp AC cord into that. Don't know where I'd be getting a ground loop, with just a Tele plugged into an amp...
